At Marrakech airport you will be picked up by your private guide and private driver and taken to your riad.
In the evening you an inspiring Food Tour in the medina of Marrakech awaits you.
After a delicious breakfast in your riad in Marrakech, we drive southeast.
Via the Tizi n’ Tichka pass, with an altitude of 2260 meters, the highest and most impressive mountain pass in North Africa, we cross the Atlas Mountains. Along the way we stop for beautiful photos.
After a three-hour drive we reach Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Africa. We take a dip in the impressive film studios before we continue our journey towards the breathtaking Dades Valley.
Along the way we see impressive rock formations and discover the traditional Berber life in the many clay kasbahs. We spend the night in a unique guesthouse, where a warm Berber family welcomes you with open arms.
We leave Dades and travel through the Todgha Gorge, a narrow corridor of steep 300-metre cliffs that rise dramatically on either side. These are the most impressive cliffs in southern Morocco and are very popular with experienced mountaineers.
Today we discover the secrets of southern Morocco and get to know the traditional crafts that are practiced in this region.
We then continue our journey towards the Sahara desert, via the town of Erfoud, which is famous for its date festival that is celebrated annually in November.
Upon arrival in Merzouga, we enjoy a delicious cup of fresh mint tea, before experiencing an unforgettable sunset on the back of a camel in the magical sand dunes of Merzouga.
The evening ends with a delicious dinner, followed by traditional music and spectacle under an amazing starry sky.
After a breathtaking sunrise over the sand dunes of Merzouga and a traditional breakfast in the tent camp, we head to Erfoud, the city of many fossils. We discover crystals, semi-precious stones and fossils.
We travel through Kalaat M’Gouna, where up to 4,000 tons of rose petals are picked every spring, which are processed into rose water or exported for the perfume industry.
On the way to Skoura, we marvel at the many kasbahs that are hidden among the greenery of the valley. In the picturesque town of Skoura, surrounded by an impressive palm forest, we admire the most beautiful kasbahs in southern Morocco.
We spend the night in the middle of the hilltop town of Aït-Ben-Haddou, this centuries-old kasbah is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Many Hollywood blockbusters, including Gladiator and several scenes from Game of Thrones, were filmed here.
After breakfast in Aït Ben Haddou, we return to Marrakech.
Via the beautiful Ounila Valley, we reach the former holiday palace of Pacha El Glaoui, which was built at the end of the 18th century by the governor of Marrakech. This hidden gem is a must see on our return journey.
Once arrived in Marrakech, we visit all the highlights of this beautiful city.
Depending on your return home, we may or may not plan a surprising activity. This is also the perfect time to stock up on nice souvenirs for the home front or to soak up the atmosphere of Marrakech one last time.
